Major Basics
- Students must complete at least four out of the five basic major Campus Map courses offered in the first and second semesters, totaling 12 credits. Any additional credits will be classified as free electives, rather than as major courses.
Major Required
- All 4 required major courses (12 credits) must be completed. (For students admitted before 2020, the requirement is fulfilled by completing 9 credits, including <Social Research Methodology> and <Social Statistics>, and one of <History of Sociology> or <Contemporary Sociological Theory>).
Major Courses
- For an in-depth major, 66 credits are required, while for other majors, 45 credits are needed. There is a distinction based on the recommended year, but student's can take courses regardless of year. Basic major courses are excluded from major credit requirements.
